RIKA is an Asian-Pacific Islander woman-owned activewear line designed in Hawai‘i and ethically made in Bali.

My name is Tiana Hannemann and Rika 利花 is my middle name with the given meaning smart flower. I am mixed, or we like to say hapa, born and raised on O’ahu. My father’s side is from Samoa and my mother is from Japan.

I am thankful and proud of the values and lessons from my family. My mission is to instill the same confidence, love, and gratitude in all who wear RIKA. Every color, style, and detail holds special meaning.

These three mantras not only gave rise to RIKA but also give purpose to my life.

From supporting local to cleaning up the beaches and making microplastic art, I’m stoked to combine and share all my passions. After connecting with numerous small businesses since moving back home during the pandemic, I thought “why don’t I start my own?” and just like that, RIKA blossomed. Luxe sustainable yoga wear that doubles as swim made from ECONYL, recycled yarn, and post-consumer plastic bottles.
